Heart and Soul Bears for Children with CHD
Toddler Tracks will provide "Heart and Soul" singing teddy bears to children with congenital heart defects (CHD) this Easter season.
I was searching for a great way to make a difference in the lives of children when I found the website of Mike Skiff. I read his blog and was incredibly touched by the story of his family's courage during their son Hudson's battle with a Congenital Heart Defect. I am inspired by their continued dedication to help other children and families who are impacted by CHD.
As you will see at their website, From Hudson's Heart, one way that Mike and his family support families is by providing gift boxes to children with CHD at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Children's Hospital, Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. We are pleased to announce that we are partnering with From Hudson's Heart to provide Heart and Soul teddy bears in the gift boxes that will be delivered in April 2011... just in time for Easter!
We are asking you to consider helping us bring joy to these children and their families. If you would like to partner in our initiative with From Hudson's Heart to provide Heart and Soul, singing stuffed animals to children with CHD this Easter season, you may donate by visiting the Toddler Tracks website. On the home page, simply look for the box "Give to Children with Congenital Heart Defects" and click the "Donate" button. We are accepting donations for this cause through April 10, 2011. 100% of the funds collected will be used to provide gifts for children with CHD.
Please forward this email to family and friends who may be interested in contributing. Thank you for your help in bringing joy to the lives of children.
